The Crimson Core series of saber cores are the most advanced saber cores we offer. The crimson color of the board with the registered Crimson Dawn trademark indicates a saber was built with the Crimson Core.
This listing is for a complete Crimson Core for a Base-Lit saber. This core is fully compatible with any Tier 2 or Tier 3 hilt and is a direct drop-in replacement for any saber using a standard base-lit core.
The Crimson Core proudly features real-time pitch modulation, commonly known as "Smooth Swing". This produces swing sounds by altering the duration, pitch and volume of the saber based on the speed and orientation of the saber in motion. The result is incredibly realistic sound effects that match your moves, making you one with your saber.
The Crimson Core comes in two variations, with a SD card and no SD card. With out the SD card the Crimson Core will still come with it standard features of Smooth Swing, Flash on Clash, Saber lock-up, Multi-Block mode, RGB color tuning, and Gesture controls. Along with 16 sound fonts. The SD card add-on an addition 30 Sound fonts, as well as the ability to edit the sounds fonts to reduce or increase the amount you have, by deleting or adding custom sound fonts. As well as any changes you make to the color of the blade or the setting you change on the sound font, to be saved on that sound font. (Please make a back up of the files before doing any editing to the SD card)
Installing this core is simple. All you have to do is remove the old core and slide this one in its place. An 18650 Li-Ion battery is INCLUDED with this unit.
